    Set fingerprint reader software to only be used for login?

    I like this fingerprint reader thing as a quick way to log in. However, beyond that (since I use Linux for everything I can), it is not useful for me. Regardless, it consumes space in the system tray making me look like one of those dummies. (The type that installs every browser toolbar under the sun just because he was asked to by a popup).

    Where should I be looking to trim this thing down such that it is only present in the login screen?

    kill psqltray.exe It can be a ram hog at times to. its the actual tray thing.
