    Hi,

I have V6, which has a really bright screen. I’ve created a custom color/contrast/gamma adjustment inside of ATI display properties, but I have to set it every time I start my V6. Is there a way of creating some script or other way to have the present load every time I start my notebook. Thanks,

    dlogic ;)

You can set up a profile by going into your display properties> settings> advanced> and then select the color tab. There you can do a set up or save your profile.

I already did, but as I said in my initial post it doeasn't get applied after you restart the notebook. I have to go to "Display Properites" everytime after I restart and select it...I'm looking for a way to automate it.

After you've saved it and selected it, make sure you hit apply at the bottom before getting out of it. It should keep it's setting, because I just did it right now. And it held it after a restart.

Nope, it doesn’t work even if I hit apply (I mean after restarting). Are you using “ATI Color” panel ? The easiest way to see if it works is to try some extreme color changes and than restart it. If you apply minor changes you won’t see the difference. Also, in “General” settings I have “Apply the new display settings without restarting” selected. Anyone, has the same problem  ? Thanks !

Yup, I'm using the same exact drivers from the CD and the latest from the Asus' website. I changed the Gamma to a pretty high setting (don't even have to save the profile) and hit apply. It took a few seconds, I hit ok to get out and restarted the system. The display settings stayed the way I configured it. Try reinstalling the ATI driver/software.
