I recently had to do a fresh install of Vista and had to install all the Asus drivers. Now I want to use my Toshiba Television( http://www.tacp.toshiba.com/televisions/product.asp?model=22lv505) as an external monitor. Using this cable ( http://tinyurl.com/4teqez). Now I don't know if I missed some driver or something I just don't know what to do. I've tried pretty much everything. Plugged it in used Nvidia Control Panel and set that up but nothing happened it would detect the monitor but it wouldn't list the actual TV it would just say Analog so I tried the Rigorous Display test and it couldn't find the TV either. Then I tried using Vista Mobility Center and it detected a monitor but when I went to set them up in the Display settings my 2nd monitor was Generic Non-Pnp Nvidia 9600M when I thought it was supposed to list my TV. I've tried restarting with it plugged in and my TV still says no signal. I've set it to my main monitor and my laptop monitor just shows my wallpaper and then after 15 seconds goes back to normal and all the while my TV says no signal. What should I do?

Same issue here, been through quite a few of the same steps. If you found a solution, could you please post what you did? Thanks.

Also, should have said that I am trying to utilize the HDMI port, if that matters?
