This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    My G50VT X1 is arriving tomorrow! :D
    Now, the first thing I'm supposed to do with it is reinstall the OS or something, right? I haven't bought XP yet, would it be easy to install it later after I've already been using the laptop for awhile, or would I have to reinstall Vista all over again when I get XP? Any other fixes I should do before I trade my life for BF 2142?
