    Shipping with Fedex Ground - HELP ME!!!

    Hi,
    At the end I decided to buy a Asus G1S-A1. I ordered it at 31 th of August. And it is on the way. But I need to know something. It is coming with Fedex Ground. At the website, it shows the establised delivery date is 7th of September.

    My question is that should I believe them ? Do you think it will come on date?
    I know there are lots of people at this forum who used Fedex Ground at least one time. Can you say me something about that?

    My second question is that is there a chance to change my Fedex service type ? For example Fedex ground to Fedex 2nd day or something faster??

    Has it already been shipped? It looks like it has therefore if it's in the hands of FedEx, then no, you can't upgrade the shipping method.

    As for the date of delivery, it varies, usually they are correct, but there may be reasons of it not being so, whether it be weather, accidents, etc.

    It also depends on how far you are from origin (where package was shipped from). Usually, if I order something from newegg and use Fedex Express Saver(which could take 5-10 days) shipping...I get it with in two days. Reason being that newegg has a local warehouse in NJ where they ship out from, hence I get it faster.
