Just wondering is it a wise choice to do so? How much faster is a duo core anyway? If i was to compare these two model side by side (w5a and W5f), would there be any significant differences between the two?
Thanks :asus:

It's a little bit higher end proc than what proportable plans to sell, but should give you an idea. :asus: -

I don't know what your use is....... but I really don't think it'll be worth it for you unless of course you can get someone to buy your current system for close to what you paid for it..... To take a huge loss on a computer that is certainly going to get you through the next 2-3 years is really a waste.... If you're maxing out the system now, mabye you could use it, but otherwise I wouldn't sweat it.

Unless you are using apps that are taking advantage of the Dual core. Like certain encoding and photoshop you will really not see a whole lot of benifit. you should just wait till the 64bit chips and vista comes out before you concider trading in your current model.

Thank you so much everyone.... i've now decided to keep my w5a...

Good decision
the W5f isn't worth all the hassle you would've gone through...
Should i sell my W5a and get W5f?
