I received the BOOQ Vyper 15 inch sleeve .I know it is labelled out of stock but they have some spare ones!
It fits Z71V like a snug glove.
The sleeve then fits perfectly inside the carry bag supplied free along with the Z71V.
Booq Vyper sleeve is firm moulded and acts as knock-proof protection rather then just the scratch-proof protection provided by other sleeves.
Cheers

That fits INSIDE the bag supplied by ASUS? It doesn't seem like it'd fit in there...[:0]

Well, it DOES perfectly fit inside the carry bag which I got free with Z71V from PROportable and I can add the AC adapter and wires in the carry bag too[]

wow... that's impressive. Does the bag appear bulky after adding in the sleeve+Z71v and AC adapter?
whenever I use the bag provided by ASUS, all I put in there is my M6Ne and perhaps a clipboard and some writing utensils..otherwise, it becomes too bulky and heavy

The booq Vyper sleeve is not bulky. It is moulded firm and fits the laptop snugly.
The free carry bag is quite spacious with multiple pockets.
So the combination is just excellent and the laptopis protected from hard knocks.

How do you think that sleeve holds up to getting tossed around? One of our guys has one those (looks like the same model) for his tablet and he says he liked it better than an aluminum briefcase...... what do you think?
Thanks,
Justin

The sleeve is very light ,but very sturdy.I am sure it can take substantial knocks as well as a fall from a few feet.
Yes ,it will definately look less nerdy and more elegant then a aluminium'can' []

Hey guys,
Just wanted to know if the Medium version would be a good fit for the W3V... I know this thread is for the z71v, but since the topic is on this quality sleeve and I'm not sure if the w3V comes with one.
Laptop Compartment: 13.75" x 9.5" x 1.2" (349x241x31mm)
Laptop Dimensions: 13" x 9.7" x 1.18"-1.28"
Real tight fit...wondering if the foam might give a little bit.

14" sleeve should be snug fit.
