Anyone know of a nice sleeve to fit a W3V.
The slimmer the better - neoprene would be nice.
I want to be able to carry it in my backpack without scratching the sweet-@ss cover.

    Thanks

Shinza, Booq, Sumdex are some good brands for sleeves.

Check out eBags for more selection but those 3 are the top brands in terms of quality and price

Tom Bihn and Crumpler makes then too, but I would assume they could be pricey?

The ZeroShock looks nice, but would the ZeroShock 15-Inch Notebook Sleeve work for the W3V or be too big? Any custom ones out there for the W3V?

I'm using the sleeve for the V6V, fits the W3V ok, but I'm wanting to resew it so it's not as deep. It's about an inch and a half too deep :p

I just recently got the Tom Bihn vertical sleeve (size 4). Couldnt be happier. Fits like a glove. The sleeve has this hard shell on the outside and padding on the inside. It also is suspened on the bottom and not actually resting on the bottom panel. Definetly recommended

This is the normal 15" zeroshock sleeve right? anyone know how the ZeroShock 15-inch PowerBook Sleeve fits?

    The dimensions are:
    Dimensions
    Interior (W x H): 13.7 x 9.5 inches (348 x 241 mm)
    Exterior (W x H): 15.4 x 11.0 inches (390 x 280 mm)

Seeing the W3V is 13" x 9.7 this should be a pretty tight fit.
Do you think it can stretch 0.2 inches?

I bought the Sumdex ($23 from luggageguru.com) for my W3v because I have my own padded Crumpler laptop bag. I just wanted something cheap that would fit well and offer basic protection for when I carry it around in my Crumpler messenger bag. I've found the Sumdex has worked well because it's not bulky and fits well; the handles are a nice convenience, too. The only downside to the Sumdex is that the zipper only opens on the top half of the sleeve, but I got over that pretty quick.

Well if you want a sleeve to just protect it from scratches, then you can get the medium size one of the Sumdex sleeve I have. It fits it perfectly, but if you want more protection and something better looking I would look elsewhere. Here is a link to the Large size one, I couldn't find the medium size one on ebags.com or amazon.

You might be able to find it on eBay or some other site that sells laptop sleeves.

was in the same predicament as you, went with the sumdex due to its price. It's basically a good cover; I wouldn't rely on it if dropped. I'm a college student, so i carry my computer with the sleeve on it in my bookbag anyways. As far as looks goes, the front and back are basic black, and the sides have a carbon fiber looking pattern, a bit similar to the messenger bag included with the w3v. it also has gray cloth handles which imo are ugly. you could cut those off though. the fit was pretty good, there is only slight room to slide around. however, i'm always careful in zipping the sleeve around my laptop, the zipper will make contact with the corners of your computer if you're not careful.

I'm trying to decide between the Road Wired Skooba Satchel or the booq follee xm. Can anyone who owns either one comment about durability and weight?

I have the shinza 15" sleeve for my w3v. There's a bit of extra space, but I like the protection the shinza sleeve provides. The laptop doesn't move around in the sleeve because of the memory foam. The zipper goes almost all around so you easily can put the laptop in and out of the sleeve.

If anyone wants pics I'll take them... (not of me of course)

Blue Coloured Shinza Zeroshock 15" case. I noticed that the material is very sensitive to temperature. In the summer, the 'dents' created by force only stays for 2 seconds and are gone. But in the winter, they can stay for several minutes.

The 15" Shinza would fit the V6 with some spaces left. The 15" Shinza fits the M6000/Z70 chassis perfectly. Almost no room for it to move around.
