    Small Square specs W3J

    I have just recently started getting these small squares all over my laptop they appear almost everywhere but go away sometimes when i highlight the icons and such does anyone know how I can resolve this issue?

    Did I damage my video card by leaving my laptop on for the day ?

    Does the same thing happen in Ubuntu?

    I'd say reinstall graphics drivers if you haven't already.

    graphics card issue, looks like corrupt memory, replace if possible.

    Try updating your graphics driver from laptopvideo2go.

    It's worse in ubuntu, looks like I will have to replace graphics card on my W3J

    Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement graphics are or if possible a better on for my W3J?

    I bought my Asus laptop from this place but $199 for the Graphics card is high!

    VGA

    Does anyone know any place I can get it for cheaper?

    199 is a bit high, but not terrible... definitely a hardware issue, sorry to hear that :(

    If I get the graphics card for that price I will be selling my W3J.....I need to upgrade. But I also love my W3J it's been with me for so long, *sob I'm gonna miss it...

    looks like a hardware issue, basicly if you cannot replace the card or motherboard, it's buggered

    It can't be the motherboard right I mean everything else works fine, I def thin it's the g card ram is damaged by heat.

    video card replaced along with the heatsink total cost 395 :(
