I absolutely love it! I was a little skeptical on the size when I first opened it but glad I got the 15". The weight is perfect and slim. I received a lot of compliments at school. It's an RBBBK05 refurb from Newegg.

I do have 2 minor issues though.

    1. The battery rocks a little bit from the center where it connects. I made sure it's pushed in all the way and the lock is on but the battery still rocks (little loose) back and forth at the edges.

    2. Sometimes my cpu usage will be bouncing around from 30-60% and I can't find what is using it. I check the performance but nothing is showing up. sidebar and task mgr are accounting for maybe 2-3% but nothing else. I can restart and it's ok. Then after awhile it does it again. My main concern for this one is because it reflects on my battery life significantly. So far I've been getting 10+ hours out of it while in school which is awesome!

Next I will be adding the backlit keyboard. I got spoiled with my G73 and I need it on my UL50VT.

bump...and my brightness hotkeys are not adjusting the brightness. The OSD shows up but the screen isn't adjusting.

Any ideas on any of these?

Not sure about your battery issue, but use the resource monitor not task-manager to find whats eating your cpu.

For w/e reason the other day my cpu usage was staying at 50%, went to task manager and process/services wasnt showing it. Went to resource monitor, then the cpu tab, sorted by highest cpu usages, to find an out of date lexmark printing driver was (the communications subsystem) holding my cpu by about 45% alone.

    Anyways, hope you find it.
