I dont have it YET, I cant cause Im not in a major city atm where there is a store that sells all the parts. ANYWAYS

Im still hanging around whether to buy 2x1G DDR2, or just 1x1G DDR2. BF2 requires about 1.1G of ram (total system usage with windows) to run without a virtual memory swap :p

Also, I dont like going from the 7200rpm desktop HDD to a 5200rpm HDD. I know I can get a 7200rpm for laptops, but they arent SATA and I heard a lot that they are very noisy and drain fast your battery life, they arent worth the speed boost.

I think that's it, well, actually, Im considering getting a 400fsb Pentium M so I can do the famous overclock trick with the FSB switch to 533, but I dont know how that would affect my laptop, would it make it die under a year or two? :p

    Please advise me :)

Well if I were you, I wouldn't buy it locally anyways. Paying the tax on that is a *****. With the money you save, you can buy another stick of memory. I've got 2gb's of Kingston KVR (about $113 each stick).

As for hard drive speeds, do you really notice the difference from 7200 to 5400? I surely dont, or at least it doesnt bother me. Also, yes I will suck up a little bit of your battery, but then you want to overclock, so you'll be using it up right there anyways.
