Hi, Im wondering if you recommend me to do a clean windows install. I see a lot of crappy programs specially from Best Buy.

Im asking this because I dont know much about PC and from what I read is pretty much straight forward (with the DVD that comes with it ).

Please some advice would be very helpful.

I don't think it's necessary. I only did a clean install to partition my hard drives into more preferable sizes. Much of the bloatware can be easily uninstalled.

I didn't really notice anything but Asus's various bloatware. Then again, I didn't buy mine from Best Buy.

I'd recommend clean installing to get rid of all the bloat, for sure.

I just uninstalled all the unnecessary stuff. I don't think a clean install is required.

I'm going to try a cloned G50vt Win 7 install in the G72 Bestbuy version just to see if it will work.

    Cheers,
