So who is excited about the upcoming UX21? I think this is probably the most anticipated newcomer for me, judging by the preliminary specs and the looks, this will be my next one...
The only issue I see is the price, which is not yet confirmed.
    ASUS UX21
    UX21_2

As stated during the Computex is expected to arrive this fall.

Estimated pricing for all of the Intel Ultrabook products, on launch by end of 2011, has been $1300-1600 USD depending on OEM.

How well these products are able to compete with the MBAir and its lower price points will be interesting to observe.

I was excited about this, but then i just bought an 11 inch refurbished mac air for 750 from the mac store with full one year warranty and its applecare extendable. then i put windows on it. i got the machine for almost half the cost. loving it by the way. the battery life isnt as good with just windows on it but it still runs very smoothly

Yes, if indeed the price will end up being this, not a lot of people will choose it over the Air book, just not competitive enough and as much as I hate the fruit company, I might as well jump on the ban wagon...

why would you want to buy a notbook now anyway.. the market is going trough a major shift, wait it out. Windows 8 with + Asus transformer form factor is the way.

The design and specs looks very good. I am going to buy one. I need to see the price first to decide between ux21 and 31, although i'd prefer the bigger one.

Too expensive in fact more expensive than Macbook Air. The screen quality seems to be stinky dinky too.

...Major shift? Please, don't tell me you are drinking the tablet Cool-Aid? Tablets are what they are, but they will never take notebooks place, the way the notebooks will not take desktops out of the market, at least not any time soon.
