Who's going to have it, and when? Would it be remotely feasible to get one shipped by the beginning of August?

I hope powernotebooks is going to carry it, they have the most reasonably-priced accidental damage warranties of any reseller that I know of :)

I don't think we're going to carry the white models, or at least not a lot of them..... the color isn't impressing me as much as it used to on the S5/M5.. and even the W5 is nicer because it's a little smaller. But both are available and Asus started shipping them out today, so they'll be around.

In terms of accidental warranties, you're better of talking to your insurance company about a rider for situations like this. If cost is a factor and you have home owners insurance or say you're in college or younger and your parents do.... this is usually free. Nothing against warranties from anyone, but before you do anything, look into the company who is covering your warranty....... call them, check out their website.... research others who have used it. I'm not talking about the notebook company, I'm talking about the company of the services they are selling....... and with a warranty like that, read the fine print.
