Well, we still don't have a solution for the lack of sensibility of the W3N touchpad, but I found that it is solvable by software.
The thing is that Synaptics Driver can sense movement even with a very soft touch. It can be proved by using the "pressure graph" of the touchpad. We can see that the software senses a small pressure, but it acts nothing.
So, the only thing that we need is that synpatics do a driver that puts the maximum sensitivity just a little more sensitive, so that the threshold sensitivity is a little low.
Now, how can we talk to synaptics or asus to ask for that? I know some of you already contacted ASUS. Is there any kind of "bugzilla" form for us to fill?

The new touchpads on the W5/V6/W3.... they are different from the M5/M6/W1/etc.... they all act the same way... so I'm curious about your software.... but the new ones almost have a littel bit of texture to them.. I notice that I can use them with moisturizer on my hands and it still picks up movement...... so I sorta think it's nicer than the old ones..... one thing I like is that little finger slider that is built in to......thats neat.
But synpatics software is complex... you can totally customize it to your needs... I have mine so configured that I have to copy over the driver files to all my new notebooks so I don't have to redo all of them.......
I don't know, maybe it's just a driver issue.... if you uninstall syaptics, does it still do it? If not, then there is an issue just with the synaptics software...
Thanks,
Justin
