I will take qty 1 of that Z37S........ Been waiting for a DX10 W7J on the cheap. This is pretty sweet.

Did you see that the Z37s has an eSATA port???
How sweet is that!
Personally I would love a Z37F, myself. Graphics via XG Station -

the Z37S sounds like just the job, if the weight and battery life are okay

E6700 on a laptop? Weird to see desktop proc on a laptop honestly.
Nice link to Anand though, thanks!! -
it is likely like an old model called the asus z81 that had a p4 and a 6800 mxm card
Its already different in that one sense because its mxm 2 and that was mxm 3 -
I wonder about the C90S. Could that possibly use desktop size hard drive?
-
Nope, check the specs in the pic. It supports the standard notebook hard drives.
The fact that it uses a desktop cpu is an interesting choice, but for desktop replacements, its a very promising concept. -
i dont follow desktop pcs but isnt that this generation of desktop cpu?
not like, a future generation?
So the fsb is the same as the centrino pro.
Im missing the performance increase. It could be a performance decrease because their will be more chips coming out for the santa rosa than the conroe in the future.... -
-
I also imagine that with the number of desktop boards Asus manufactures, there might be some cost savings for them to generate a board like this which they can then use to keep the notebook price competitive. *shrug* -
OMG, so many decisions to make soon! If this stuff is already showing up at tradeshows, even if "white-boxed," I think we may be on the early side of the announcement timeframe. WOOHOO!

have they taken pics of the z37 off?
please link -
they took off those pictures within a couple days of the first link. I'd guess that somebody from Nvidia or Asus asked them to take them down, although that's just my speculation
