My G1s has been at their Markham repair facility for nearly a month while they wait for parts. Today I finally get the email that informs me the repairs are complete and the notebook has shipped out Yay!! problem is under the section where they provide the tracking it says "Johnson". yup, instead of an actual tracking number I get some random persons name. The rest of my personal info was correct though.
Of course they were closed so I cant call to find out. Also, I rang fedex and they have no record of anything being shipped to my address. I even gave them Asus's account number from the waybill they initially sent me. Still nothing. Do I need to be worried or is it still to early for Fedex to track this in their system??

I wouldn't worry about it. I would try call back on Monday and ask Asus for the tracking number then.

They gave me a tracking number on my laptop on Thursday. I looked up online and it has no status or anything saying it's not in the system. I checked early Friday morning and still no status. During that afternoon, it finally came back!!
So I wouldn't worry either, you're probably going to get your laptop back on Monday. -
After sending my laptop to RMA, I had noticed that it was missing the PCI Express Dummy Card. They sent me one within two business days. My laptop was also shipped within two business days.
