This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Sound Volume Fixed (Asus m50vm)!

    I just downloaded and installed the latest audio drivers from realtek.com: R2.24.

    The sound on the laptop has been boosted tremendously.

    I have the Environment, Equalizer, and Loudness Equalization checked on.

    I now need to keep the volume below 40 it's so loud (I used to keep it at 100 and could barely hear some online audio sources).
