    I have problems with sound on A2500D. It's Realtek AC97 5.1 sound.
From time to time there is very short noise (maybe 0.2-0.3s), and after that there is no sound until application is restarted.
In WinAmp I tried both DirectSound and WaveOut, same thing happens. When I restart Winamp sound is working again. Issue is not limited to Winamp.
I have latest audio drivers from Asus site.

    Have anyone experienced this problem?

My sound card began to produce buzzing sounds when I play a song or any sound. I think that it's a hardware problem, because it does the same thing in linux!!! I've had the same problems with a desktop built-in sound and I didn't manage to fix it!!! :( [V][V][V]Tomorrow I'll call the technical support to see if it's really a hardware problem. [|)][|)]

I had the same problem. It was solved by upgrading the driver.

I would like on the ASUS website for the drivers. Is sounds like a driver issue.
