    Sound driver in Z70va...

    I just formatted my Z70va and everything installs fine but one thing: the sound driver.
    I first used the CD, after installing, it asks to restart so I did so, but nothing change in sounds and audio devices in the control panel.
    Then I decide to download the driver from realtek, same results...
    Any1 got this problem before?

    That's odd... I couldnt find the driver on Asus' site. But unfortunatly, it still doesnt work...

    Yeah, I didnt see it either, but you can try that link i posted. If not, the drivers on the CD included should've been enough to get you going on the right path. All the drivers are there.

    I tried the link, the CD and the driver from realtek... but still no go...
    When I get in windows, it like if nothing was installed and when I go in Sound and audio in control panel, it says that the sound device is not installed

    OK I got the problem solved...
    I had to identify the unknown PCI in device manager...
    Anyways, Thanks for the help Mike (I assume that your name so correct me if I'm wrong)
