Just hooked up my 22" LCD through HDMI to my G50VT-x5.. can't get the audio to work with it hooked up. Isn't coming through the monitor speakers either, just figured it was trying to use the HDMI sound. Any idea why?

Right click on the sound icon in your tray, click playback devices. Set HDMI as default and it should play sound via HDMI.
