Hi everyone!
I finally received my ASUS Z70Va and as suggested earlier (in a previous post) I installed power 4 gear and all is good...
But I would like to see the temperatures of the CPU and GPU, so I looked around and noted that SpeedFan does check the temperatures and that I maybe could use it for that, without playing around with the other options (like modifying the fan speeds and desired temperatures).
And that seems to work, but it looks like I may have missed some obvious function somewhere, because speedfan doesnt start when I boot my computer, and I have to start the program manually, then click the minimize button... I was wondering if there is a was to make speedfan start at the same time as my Windows?
Thanks everyone,
Math
P.S SOrry if I just merely missed a checkbox somewhere for that option...

The easiest way to auto start SpeedFan is to copy the shortcut to your Startup group in the start menu. In the options tab of configure SpeedFan, you can check minimize on startup if you desire. You will be tempted to play with this program. Be very careful and study it, NHC, and all the posts here, BEFORE you attempt any adjustments or you could be returning your new Z70Va with a burned CPU or GPU. I have spent weeks adjusting both programs and am now just getting comfortable with my settings. I have added SpeedFan to a run command in the registry so it won't accidentally get deleted from the Startup group AND have event alarms on. Good luck!

Thanks a lot for the info! I knew I missed some checkbox somewhere...
Oh, and dont worry, I have absolutely no intention of even checking the abilities of Speedfan besides showing my temperatures, as I dont want to break anything!
