    This is a little new just for the ones who where having problems with the Asus Splendid Utility or where complaining about having that softkey useless.

    I have checked the Asus website and the ASU for win7 x64 is now available and working.

    And a little extra thing ... i installed 205 bios release and it seems that the nb boot faster.

    Not big deal, but i think that this was the last asus utility that was in need of compatibility ... i was wondering if a thread with the last asus updates in G50-G51 series would be useful since new users never check for new updates directly from the asus website .. what do you think ?

    I haven't checked the bios screen yet, but what i noticed is that it boot faster than before .. apart from that they fix the bug of the "numlock" key on during the bios setup

    yes, totally stupid modification.

    Also as a side note, G71gx users that update to win 7 x64 use the splendid install from the G51 download page. I tried many times over to install the one on the G71gx page and it failed everytime.

    i will start preparing it tonight , at least a list with the updates since hanging those archives in other download server is senseless because you can download them from asus at a good speed.

    This will sound stupid, but i will make a guide also to access that small site in where all the drivers are ... -.-'.
