Any of you watch this terrible show? I can't help myself and in the latest episode I noticed they were using what looked like an Asus G71. Anyone else notice that?

I'm watching the show. I noticed the ROG logo on the laptop lid and yes, it looks like a G71.

It is defiantly a G series but the texture and double fans with extended battery does not look like any currently avail model.

Yeah, they should be on alienware! Or XPS like the old stargate series.

Mind you, Asus did good to be on this :)

LOL hahaha, hey its the only stargate show on now. Atlantis was canceled just when it was getting really really great. But it does many ways this show reminds me of battlestar galactica. I really enjoy this show a lot sucks its going off soon. Do you like Warehouse 13?

Warehouse 13? Somehow the idea of placing the fate of the world in the hands of super secret organization staffed by people with no professional attitude doesn't seem all that interesting to me.

I was actually somewhat disappointed by the appearance of some of the old SG-1 cast in the SGU series. SG-1 and Atlantis were fantastic, but SGU is just bad drama. If you're a hollywood actor/actress I guess you don't get to pick the stuff you work on.

I actually like this show. I hated most of Atlantis because of Ronin and Taela (sp). The thing that really bugged me about all the Stargate series is that no matter how far they travelled all the aliens spoke English. One thing I liked about the original movie was the language barrier that took a lot of the movie to overcome. However, I like that they made fun of themselves and some of the more rediculous plots in SG1 episode 200. Someone noted that Stargate seems to be following the Star Trek series formula:
    SG1 - TNG
    Atlantis - Deep Space Nine
    SGU - Voyager
