This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Which laptop is it? My G51jx-A1 got a white dead pixel on top left corner of the monitor. When i moved a window or any object near it, it dimmer. After several reboot, it went away now. :)

    It was resolve. The "dead" pixel moved with canned air. Also note for edit's, don't delete the original. Use "edit: XXXX " format instead.
