Hi all - I love my laptop, but i've been getting hit by a nasty little system speaker problem. When i'm playing TF2 for around 30-45 minutes the system seems to get a bit hot and when pressing "W+D+Space" the system stops and gives me a "beep", letting me know that it's too much for it to handle. Is there a reason that the system can't handle that many inputs at one time? Anyone else having this problem? Any way to get rid of this? BIOS setting i'm missing?

Thanks for all the help guys, besides this problem my laptop is the best system i've ever owned!

This is usually from the keyboard buffer being full. Are your ATK drivers installed and up to date?

It seems as though my ATK drivers are up-to-date. There are a few ATK drivers though. Do you have a link the the newest one? I checked on ASUS's website and it looks like they stopped updating them in 2008.

If my drivers are up-to-date is there a way for me to increase the buffer size in the BIOS or something like that?

    Thanks for the help.

So, I increased my keyboard buffer size and it helped for a little bit. But last night I was playing TF2 and it happened again. I couldn't press any buttons without the game freezing and giving me a system speaker. I am going to disable the language bar, but how much of an effect would that have on the system?

I don't know what to do from here.

I did remove the language bar from my computer's desktop/taskbar and it seems to have helped a little bit. I am not experiencing the lag issues I was having before, but I also haven't been playing for as long. It seems to happen mostly when I'm playing TF2 online for over 30 minutes.

Creative software? Do you mean Creative, the company? I am not aware of any Creative software on my computer, do you know what it might be?
