Anyone else encounter some serious lockup issues with steam games? (i.e. Half-Life 2, Left 4 Dead 2) I made a thread earlier regarding this issue but I think I've narrowed it down to being uniquely Steam-related, as all of my other games seem to run perfectly fine.

I provided a video of my problem in my last thread and I shall do so here as well:

If anyone has any knowledge regarding Steam compatibility issues w/ various Asus laptops, please let me know what you know.

    Thank you.

I have G71GX(bby) and I have recently installed HL2,TF2 and MW2. All of these games play great on Steam for me. I would make sure you use the Asus W7 utility disc. That fixed ALL of my problems on my retail version of W7.
