Ok. so I am still having the same issue with my battery. Asus replaced the motherboard and battery on my old machine, and it would still lose 1 to 2% of its charge while off, in like 10 to 15 minutes. So I asked for a replacement. The replacement is exibiting the same behavior.

My question is, could it be the power adapter? Because they did not provide me with a new power adapter. It is the same one I had before.

I may be wrong but it doesn't sound abnormal to me. 1 to 2% in 10 to 15 minutes sounds normal as most batteries will discharge some amount even if they are not being used. Mine discharges a little bit down to 97 percent every other day or so and I use the AC power all the time. I think I have used the battery maybe 3 times since I have had it.

    Right. No worries for 1-2%.

If using Vista and hibernating, also note that hibernation takes some power (a few percent over night).
