Recently, I've been having an odd audio issue with my G73JH. Short, 5 or 10 second audio clips will start up for no reason. Whether I'm logged into the net or not. Whether any program is up and running or not. My wife will be playing WOW and these strange audio clips will start up. They seem to be commercials of some sort. I've run an adware scan as well as a malware scan with no luck.
Again, short pieces of commercials will just popup.
I'm out of ideas. Any suggestions?
And no I'm not an idiot, just not very computer savvy.

Clearly you have a Ghosts. I say get a Sudanese Witch doctor to perform a ritual... JK, JK I had a similar issue, it turns out it was my eternal speakers picking up a radio signal when the power cord crossed the audio jack cord. If its not that try a bunch of virus sweeps from different virus scanners (sometimes on brand won't pick it up), I like AVG Free best. Or it could be a background webpage with flash adds. Check in your task manager (cntrl shift escape) under processes for open web items next time you hear it, and end them one by one.
