I formated my Asus A8Ja and installed a fresh windows xp. Tried installing the audio driver from the website and the CD but it keep saying HDA bus driver required and not found. Already installed the UAA (whatever that is but it think it's related) and it still doesn't work. Any help?

HI i AM ALSO HAVING PROBS WITH AN ASUS A6JC .DID SOME SEARCHING AND FOUND A REFERENCE THRU M/SOFT THAT SAYS PROB FIXED WITH VISTA AND SP3.THEY SAY IT IS VENDERS RESPONSIBILITY .
IT WOULD BE NICE IF U COULD GET A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL BUNDLED S/WARE FOR THESE MACHINES.

WILL KEEP LOOKING AND POST IF I FIND ANYTHING NEW..
USE SEARCH ENGINE AND TYPE "MICROSOFT BUS DRIVER " TO GET LINK.
