Sudden Pauses for Seconds then continues

Hello i got my asus g50vt b1 laptop a month ago everything is working fine on it except when i play mmorpg game (CABAL). When i start the game its fine but after 15 seconds of grinding it pauses for 1 to 2 seconds then continues.

I've tried to update the graphic driver from laptop2go. I tried Dox and lastest drivers from the main page. Its still got that sudden pauses.

So i thought maybe is cause my wireless so i reinstalled my wireless console 2 and tried that doesn't work. My other laptops from dell doesn't have this problem and its connected to the same wireless router. This only occurs when i am using wireless connections to play the game.

One thing i accidentally discovered it was when i have uTorrent downloading and uploading then play the game it won't have the pauses.

So I send it in for repairs got it back in a week. Good customer support in canada. No good still have the problem.

Any1 else experiencing the same problem or knows how to solve it please please answer and I am really getting annoyed by this. i can't always leave my torrent program on to get rid of the pauses.

There is 2 different types of freezes that people get.

1: So next time it freezes move your touchpad quickly and see if it still works during the "pause"...
If it does then you must update your touchpad drivers, details can be found near the start of the thread i linked..

2: If the touchpad doesnt work then i can be an "intel driver" Matrix storage or something like that...That solution is also in the thread i linked..it is found in the last few pages of that thread though..

Thank You So Much! Problem fixed by downloading intel storage manager. I will see if it happens again! Then I will report here.

 

No prob, had that really annoying problem too, i updated the Intel Storage Manager and problem solved..

hello again mine is working fine but a new problem i just discovered is that my keyboard = isn't working. i tried to press it in game and nothing happens. But if i am typing in notepad it works. Is this a common problem too?

i did flash the lastest bios from asus website, reinstalled ATK Hotkey driver, and ATK OSD2. It just won't respond when i play my game.

Any Help would Greatly Appreciated!

 

This sounds more like a problem of the game, if they keyboard is working properly in Notepad.

If you are using a different keyboard layout try switching to the default US layout, maybe the game expects it in order to work.
