So I just bought these logitech x-530 speakers, but realized after opening it that I dont have enough ports on my computer to plug all this in to... (??), is there some kind of adapter I need to get or what? The speakers did come with this video game adapter that takes the pink, green and black cords and turns into to RCA white/red configuration... but is there something i need to go from my speaker jack to the speakers?? I'm confused...

There G1s should have an optical/spdif/headphone combined jack. Try searching for a spdif to the 3 prongs

I'm not sure such a thing exists (or if it does it's not just a jack has to have integrated DSP and converters)... SPDIF is digital, 3 prongs is analog.

Doesn't the Logitech system have an optical input? Because G1 outputs SPDIF from the LineOut jack; there is a cheap converter for that (it's just a shape conversion).

I dont believe it has an SPDIF input on it. Just analog

Well, first try to look for a SPDIF to analog 5.1 and make sure the format it converts to is supported by your Logitech system...

Otherwise you will need an external soundcard like the Audio Advantage SRM (which includes a breakout for 5.1 analog) or Creative XFi Notebook (for which you have to buy it separately).

So another question I had was how come in the realtek audio console it wont let me change to any other speaker configuration than "stereo", it's the grayed out... btw I plugged the speakers using a stereo RCA L/R splitter into this "game" adapter that came with these, it works just fine, for now ;)
