I have a Taichi 21 and many times I am in the middle of working in desktop mode when, for no discernible reason, it switches to the Metro UI (so that I have to click the desktop tile to get back to where I was). Some times it does this almost constantly.

Has anybody encountered this kind of behavior?

    Thank you,
    Ugo

Maybe a touchpad gesture or hitting the windows key by mistake?

For sure that is not the case. Some times I can see that the screen is in desktop mode and, a few seconds later, it switches to Metro mode, without anybody actually using the laptop at that time.

A stray background metro app running perhaps?
