Its been two times now, that I would come home, have the laptop off and unplugged all day, turn it on, plug it in and when it shows my desktop wall paper (no icons) or anything loaded up or accessible in windows, it hangs. I then have to power it off holding the power button and it boots fine the next time around. Whats up with this?

Do you plug the notebook into a/c halfway thru boot up ? If so this could be the problem. Maybe try either waiting for the notebook to completely boot on battery before pluging in or plug in before booting up.

ps you can also checkout the system error log to see if there is a record of the hang, this can sometimes help find the cause -
I had the same problem when I first got my W3V. People told me that the best way is to reinstall Windows
. Should have heard your solution.

when it hangs does mouse hang too? If yes contact your dealer and request a diagnostics pack or rma.

i hope its not serious. -
you can run the error checking(scan disk), let the windows fix its system files.(if you can boot up the Windows successfully).
