Any suggestions on which model external tv tuner to go with for an ASUS A8JS for best picture quality? (High def) (I'm a Colts fan and am going at a function with no tv avail for the game this weekend, but will be able to pull it up when returning to the hotel.)
    thanks in advance

I got an Hauppauge HVR 950 for Christmas. It can receive NTSC (cable and over the air) and ATSC over the air. The driver and software was a bit of a pain to setup but it does work well once you've got it working.

You're looking for HDTV over the air right?

Edit: Forgot to mention that it uses USB 2

Yep, HD over the air would be optimal. Loopty, Do you run into any signal reception limitations with getting both ATSC and NTSC - or is that a pretty inclusive setup? (Sounds like that might be the way for me to go.) thanks again for the helpful input.

I tested out the HVR 950 last month and I think it's a great little unit. I hooked it up in my car on a minipc I've got hooked up and it works well for over the air stuff.

Sorry but I can't really tell you. I live in a major metropolitan area on top of a hill so my reception quality is probably not normal. I don't really have anything to compare it to either.
