    Hi,

had my heart set on a HP dv2500t, but this has stolen that wish away.

    Regarding the Asus F3SV-AP073G.
    http://www.nexus13.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=306&idproduct=1121#details

I got a few questions about what is actually included and upgrade paths.

    1) Firstly, does this notebook come with "turbo Memory", or "Robson" as it is sometimes known?
PC World review says it does, the site I am looking at does not mention it anywhere.
    http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/index.php/taxid;2136212931;pid;3529;pt;1;pg;1;pa;1

    2) How many physical ram is actually installed on the Graphics card. How much might it pull from main memory?

    3) It comes with 1gb 667mhz Ram (1024x1). This means a slot is free to add another 1gb of ram. Would this stick be suitable?
    http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/123910/rb/28192882164

    4) Finally what would you make of the battery life? The PC World review states it is pretty much the same as the previous model it replaced.
    How much was that?
Because I am aware that the F3JP ran for about 3 hours with an 8 cell battery. This model only comes with a 6 cell battery. If it can manage roughly the same time, that is really saying something for the Santa Rosa platform.

    5) It comes with a built in DVB-T Tuner, does this actually mean a solution inside the notebook?
I ask, because regarding the HP dv2500t in the UK, one site states that it is built - in when it is clearly an expresscard solution.

Thank you. Please post any comments you would feel useful.

    1) All Asus models have the Robson capability and option, but I think whether or not you can get it depends on the reseller. It isn't standard across any model I don't think

2)256MB dedicated vram, an additional shared 256MB will be accessed during intense usage (for a total of 512).

    3)Yes

    4) I couldn't tell you, I have never owned one.

    5) I have never heard of this model having DVB-T or Expresscard.

Well, the Asus website explicitly states DVB-T Tuner.

    http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=5&l2=26&l3=316&l4=0&model=1661&modelmenu=2

And the specs were actually wrong. Seems I won't be needing to buy the 1gb Ram upgrade.

I emailed nexus13 reseller, and they updated the model with the latest spec sheet from Asus. The notebook comes with 2gb Ram and there is 256mb Video Ram which can be expanded to 1gb through Turbo cache.

Unfortunately, like many notebooks at the moment, no Robson.
