I think someone asked about this recently, but do the the limited search feature on here I can't find it. >.> But anyway, what would be a good temperature reader and load tester (and how to do it)?

What do you mean by temperature reader? You mean something like HWM?

Whatever you guys use with the temperatures displayed during load tests. And I'm wondering what you guys use to actually do those tests.

Orthos is a good CPU load tester, while Furmark is a good GPU tester. Furmark has it's own graph, while you have to use HWMonitor to check your CPU in Orthos.

OCCT can do both, and has temperature graphs.

Hmm. Is Furmark compatible with Vista 64-bit?

I like to use Riva Tuner for viewing GPU temps. It's worked out pretty well for me

Should I try Riva Tuner for GPU testing? If so then I'll need to know how to "disable the driver signature checking."

Use Furmark or OCCT for GPU stress testing.

But doesn't that require 32-bit Vista?

64bit vista is backwards compatible with 32bit most of the time.

It should come with a file that lets you install in 64 bit, anyway if it doesnt work, before you load windows press f8 and select disable driver enforcement and load windows and install.

Also you can use rivatuner to check gpu and cpu temps provided you have a intel core 2 series or higher (i think it was)
