Check and make sure nothing has found its way under neat the actual plastic of the key itself. Also, has the problem just developed, or has it been there for a long time.

Was it always like that, like from the beginning or only recently?

    Could be a bad clip.

actually... i MIGHT be having the same problem... i'm not entirely sure, but i find myself needing to press 'r' repeatedly during CS/CSS or else my guns don't reload ("by guns don't reload"... HA! :p)

but i don't have problems when just typing normally... so maybe i'm guessing cuz the keyboard can only register 2 'main' keys at once (except for eg. crtl+alt+del), u know, where i can only press 2 keys at the same time and the 3rd key wouldn't register. the 'problem' seems to go away when i'm only going forward (so only pressing 'w') while reloading instead of 'walking' (ctrl for me) and moving ('wsad') AND reloading at the same time...

is that when u've noticed the problem too?

Does it do it constantly or every so often? Maybe it's a bad contact.

Also, I would check for obstructions first. Does the key feel like it's rubbing/grinding on something? Maybe you might want to try a can of compressed air to see if there's anything lodged in it (avoid extended use of canned air, the chemicals they use in those things aren't good for you if you use too much over a small period of time).

If it feels normal like the other keys, I would look to getting an RMA.

Yea, looks like some sort of dust particle, or food particle, or.....well, up to your imagination :)

Every once in a while, try flipping your notebook upside down and using canned air to blow away all the gunk.

Depends what keys - CTRL+ALT+DEL works quite well for me :p

But I do notice it doesn't register the third key a lot of the time - such as in Oblivion when I try to train by doing magical spells (b) while jumping (r) and moving (w, a, s, d) - they have a q key that acts as though I'm pressing the w 'forward' constantly, which is v. useful. So I suppose I can say it's normal, though shift+ctrl+key, or alt+ctrl+key, windows key+ctrl+key, and other similar combos should work fine.
