    Hello,

Any info I can get on this notebook I so want to get by next month? :)

I've searched the internet for info and could only find it on Asus' site.

    Thank you! ;)

    Okay. :(

I hope it will be sold by next month because that's when I am getting a notebook and this one matches all that I need and want. :)

Great design! I hadn't heard about this, thanks!

I really dig the looks on the laptop, I just wish they used at least an HD4670 :p but still its a powerful medium range computer.

Lets hope more news about this come out soon.

I hadn't heard about this one, either; thanks!

It's hard to tell without more pics and the full specs but it looks like a great "tween" machine (between 15" and 17" models). Hopefully the resolution will be no more than 1600 x 900 which would be ably serviced by the 4650 card. The design looks very much like my N81, which I love, but with a bigger screen and from the pics less wasted space around the bezel, so perhaps not much larger or heavier, which would be terrific.

Tons of questions: space for one HD drive or two? Intel CPU of which family and how fast? And of course price and availability?

    Anyone who knows please post!

Ye but it still uses the ATI Mobility™ Radeon® HD 4650 which is also good. :)

The resolution is 1366x768 and I like it's design too! :)

    Answering your questions:
    1) I don't know.
    2) Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T9550/P8700/P8600/P8400/P7450/P7350/T6600/T6400/T5900/T5800 : 2.66 GHz - 2 GHz.
    3) I think it is a very new notebook which is the reason we can't find any more info on it so let's wait for a month and see what we can get sooner or later.

Bummer, that kinda lets me out of the party! That rez is okay on a 14" screen like on the N81, but on a 16" screen it's gonna look all kinds of grainy and blocky. Too bad... oh, well, back on the hunt... the perfect 'book is out there, I just know it is!

This model is too new to make any speculations.

Not really. I have 1366 x 768 resolution on my N81 and the pixels are noticeably more blocky and "pixelated" than the G50's 15.4 inch 1680 x 1040; it's only going to be much worse on a 16 inch screen unless you know some new principles of optics and math I'm not aware of. If that is the rez, it's not going to be a great screen, at least for somebody like me who notices stuff like that.
