Here is a great promo video of the EEE Box & EEE Stick.

    http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1779930/asus_eee_box_with_eee_stick_eng/

I love my Wii for the reason of the controllers, so this is really cool to have something similar for Asus computers.

It said EEE only in my reading but I noticed its supposed to come with the new G51?

I have actually been using my Wiimotes on my computers for a long time and have tutorials posted here on the forums on how to do that. They are bluetooth devices and with a bit of work they can work on any computer, however this device may open some new doors and of course wont require any of the nerd work to make it work.

My guess is that the EEE stick is going to be give/take. It looks like it has a few features that the Wii controllers do not have, like the air mouse mode, but also I am willing to bet it lacks a few of the sensors the wiimote has.

I hope I can get one of these for review somehow and run it through its paces.

I got my eee stick with my g51vx but the controller with 4 buttons came broken so im waiting to see if excaliberpc can replace it for me.
Funny story is, its been around 2 weeks and apparently when excaliberpc was asking Asus for a replacement eee sticks, Asus didn't know what they were :S

Yeah they come with the G51 from resellers (Got mine from Gentech). I will try them out when I have some time, I am definitely interested in the air mouse mode.

They are extremely identical to wii nunchuks it is quite scary :p

And I find it funny how the buttons are just basically numbered from 1 to ...14 or something like that, even the supposed dpad.

Vicious- this is a little OT, but in your original post you stated you've used your Wiimote in windows for quite some time now, but I've tried the tutorial you posted (and many, many others online) but it never seems to work for me. I even have a paid for copy of bluesoleil or w.e its called because I thought that it might help..lol. Any ideas?

Not on only that much information, I do not know where your problem falls.

In connecting the wiimote? In coding glovepie with a script to give it commands?

There are supposed to be a few wiimotes out there (newer ones) that dont work but I have never had any. I suppose it could be your bluetooth hardware is not compatible as well, testing on a friends machine or using a confirmed usb bluetooth dongle would eliminate that.

My issue lies in pairing the wiimote. its about a year old, and I've tested with multiple dongles (incl. toshiba stacks, microsoft stacks, etc)
