I have an ASUS K52F running Windows 7 Home Premium and it annoys me how the Horizontal scrolling on the touchpad only sometimes works

i have installed the latest toucpad driver but the horizontal scrolling still intermittently works, but the vertical scrolling always works,

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I think it just comes down to how you place your finger, other than having the latest drivers there is not much you can do.

its not, i use two fingers to scroll vertically/horizontally and it used to always work but now doesnt work or rarely works,
    its a simple swipe action

are there any other reasons the horizontal scrolling doesnt work?
