    Just got my ASUS G1 today and am loving it so far. Playing DVD the green strips of lights on either side of the screen keep blinking, how the heck do you disable those?

    There should be a manager that you can stop it. Do a quick search for g1p lights or something similiar, and it should wield results.

    i dont personally own a G1 (though i would love to :p) if you cant find it on the system tray i bet you can disable it from your bios there should be an option somewhere if im not mistaken

    THere is a program in your system tray called direct console. This controls your light and OLED display on your G1.
