Meet the A8j... no word on if it'll ever make it stateside, but I thought the look of its touchpad would interest a few. It almost looks like the left/right click buttons are actually gone and replaced by a longer touchpad with left/right click areas. I can't confirm that, but you can use the inset to judge for yourself.

    Hmmm, it's pretty slick looking!

Looks like an all in one touchpad, either an awesome move or a disastrous one...

But I gotta say, its unique...

no, the 7300 is the replacement for the 6200. Which means it's most likely a 13.3 or 14.1 widescreen. I'm leaning towards 13.3

The W3 sized keyboard layout and space to each side suggest that it is 14".

Looks like a thin and light.

    I second John Ratsey's guess of 14" ... maybe 14.1"?

It would seem to be a 14", but Asus already has a Built-On series in the 14" range (the Z62f/j), a 15.4" (A6), and 17" (A7). Thus 13.3 is the most likely.

    Right.. I forgot about that!
    Makes sense that it'd be a 13.3"

I'd say you've got a beat on it if you said 14"... I have no details on this yet at this point, but regardless of what graphics it has, it's either 14 or 15.4" and although the dedicated graphics are "low".. it's still dedicated and a great thing for an A series model......

wow that really does look nice, if Fujitsu doesn't add the option for a really nice GPU in there next generation of N series I am definitely considering and Asus in a few years,

this model looks like an absolute perfect model for my girlfriend, i need to start saving a little and get her a really nice gift i think :)

Asus has some really ugly models but when they get it right they get it right.

.. I'd point out that a majority of their models are some of the sexiest notebooks around...... If you could see the W and V series as the surper models of the notebook world, then their A series would look more like the "natural women" on the Dove commericals

yeah i know i saw the w2v and really liked it, but there were just some issues i had like the headphone/mic input at the front and other little things, and the price :( but when i need to get a new notebook in a few years hopefully price won't be an issue ^_^

i hope they build something with a complete carbon fiber case, on the real deal carbon fiber not the composite stuff ;)
if someone ever releases a dry carbon notebook that will be the one i buy :) if you don't know what dry carbon fiber is then you are not into modern car racing, F1, Super GT, etc.

and i'm really waiting for a dry carbon fiber mouse :)

The closest thing you will find is the W1 carbon.
