I've been searchig the forum to figure out if there is something wrong with my temps.

I've bumped old threads, started new ones, replies to others.
I noticed that quite a few other people are looking at this too.

When your gpu hits 95 and other people say theirs maxes out at 70, you start wondering if you're very unlucky.

But we often ignore that people live in diferent palces with different climates and weather conditions. Their laptops are placed differently and they're playing different games. Some of the are using cooling pads and some are not.

This thread will be the ultimate solution for people looking for direct comparison of how other peoples laptops with closer than ever conditions are working.

    What to do?

You can contribute to this research/thread if you have an Asus G50 or G51.

Post two screenshots of Hwmonitor or a similar application, one with the power set to 'Maximum Performance' and the laptop idle for 20 minutes without screensaver, the other after playing 20-30 games of a GPU intensive game like Crysis/GTAIV or whichever game you have.
Also tell if you are using custom made drivers like Dox's

Make sure you WRITE THE NAME of the game, and add further details if needed, like how your laptop is placed (table, lap etc..) and whether or not you are using a cooling pad, where you live and the current temperature in your room.
