Have you had the PC over a month if not you are covered under the bright dot policy.

I was playing World of Warcraft on my friends Sony s560P and asked him how does that stuck pixel not bother him? He looked at it and finally noticed it, he now hates me and won't talk to me because everytime he uses his laptop he sees the pixel. He is going to sell it off on Ebay( he will note the stuck pixel) just because I pointed it out and NOW it is always there, stuck in his mind.

Yeah I refuse to use a computer with a dead pixel. It's the most irritating thing in the world.

Oh ok. Well try calling Asus anyways (510-739-3777 ext. 5110). They'll just ask you a few questions before hand to verify if its a dead one, bright one and/or see what they can do. Hopefully they can help you out.

Well I customized mine so its not under the Asus warranty, rather is under warranty by my vendor AgearNotebooks.

The dead pixel doesn't bother me too much, I'll live :D

my w3v has two "bright" pixels that are continuosly a bright light blue but i dont notice em too much as most backgrounds are pretty light on web pages, word docs etc. even so its not too bad on a dark background

I found a brightdot on my new replacement screen for my Z70Va.

Thing is I don't know if it really is a brightdot or not because it's so **** small I can't even see it unless I REALLY look for it, plus it only shows up on grey colors.

Sooooo, it doesn't bother me since I can't even really see it, plus the rest of the screen is great.

    Cheers,
    Mike
