What are the possibilities of finding a source for the primax bluetooth mouse (black) used in the overseas series and also having it work with our w7js?

Not clear what you mean, the one that comes with the worldwide version, for the N.A. version?

Usually, the ASUS accessories are customized by ASUS through the vendors(like Logitech, Targus, etc.) so you can probrably get a similiar mouse.

the NA version does not come with the bluetooth mouse that the overseas version comes with. I saw the back of the mouse was made from primax so I was wondering if a source for these mice can be found. It would be nice to have a wireless mouse without using a dongle. Also, I'm weary of other bluetooth mice because they weren't really designed to be used with the system. I've heard of bluetooth wireless mouse horror stories.

Asus has only used rebranded logitech mice for their entire existance in the notebook world..... and their mice are easy to find... The US models don't come with them because they're not priced for them. The W5f comes with the same mouse you've probably seen, but it's really not an issue... You're worried about compatibility, but I've never had a problem and I've used not only a lot of bt mice, but have a lot of bt accessories and have used a lot of them at the same time, with very little issue outside of trying to use stereo headphone while using a bt mouse and keyboard.... but that's another story.

... I guess the bottom line is... are you trying to find ones with "asus" on them? If so, I wouldn't really waste my time, but you could get them from Asus office's in other countries..... There are no specific drivers that come with the W5f and it's mouse..... and Asus hasn't designed drivers or anything specifically around any bt mouse to this point anyway.

There were a lot more issues with the internal RF that the old W5a used, in terms of needing specific drivers for a specific mouse...... not the case with bt.
