    Hi guys,

I'm thinking about buying a W3J now after much debate, but I have a few questions first.

    1. How is the screen on this computer? Would it be as good or better than a Dell Inspiron with Truelife?

    2. How is the keyboard? Is there much flex?

    3. Where did you purchase from?

    Heh, I know :p

I'm not aware of graininess but it does have the x1600, so I don't fully know.

The keyboard is nice, flex, no, unless you like bashing keyboards. Not as solid and 'clean' as ThinkPads, but second to that is still pretty good.

Well, to each to his/her own. Graininess can be a personal thing. I don't know either, but from reading threads about them, it all depends on you.

On the S96j, which has the ATI card, some say it has graininess. I can't remember, but if you search the forum, some say it partly due to the card. But, I'm not too sure.

My W3J has the graininess, but it does not matter too much. After examining three notebooks with X1600 closely (W3J, F3Ja, and BenQ S73), I agree that the graininess has something to do with X1600. All three X1600 notebooks have graininess.

    1. I don't think you can really compare to the Dells with Truelife. The truelife stuff is very crisp and clean and pretty much Sony-ish quality. Nevertheless, the W3J's screen is still very good! I like it much better than my old Sager.

    2. the kb doesnt have much flex but it feels very sturdy.

    3. i bought mine from c9tech.com. +1 to a great seller
