Like the G70?![]()
The black part in the inside is what makes me feel it's a console when it's white on the outside.![]()

I don't know what I'm more excited seeing on this badboy, the backlit keyboard or the 260M GTX.
Just those 2 features would be great new additions to a already very good gaming laptop.
I can't wait to see some reviews for it.
So far so good. -
The keys are like those of macbooks. God knows how constant long term gaming will feel on it.

If you've ever gamed on a macbook you'll notice the sides of the keys get in the way... especially when strafing. I hope it's not exactly the same as a macbook or I will definitely not be buying it as a gaming lappy.
(I had a macbook a couple of years ago) -

I didn't take any offense.. I'm pointing out a user experience... for the record I'm platform agnostic but mostly a linux user. -
LMFAO so funny guys.
I was just referring the keys as the same feel and quality as the macbook ones, reference by the looks only. -

I'm sure ASUS designs there laptops with good cooling( C90's not included)
But with a factory OC option testing was done to keep everything at a acceptable level, I hope. -

Yeah i at some point in time in doing paste forgot to plug the fan back in think it was on the second try. Idles looked fine but light load temps didnt go down fast seemed weird. Played a game for like 2 minutes it started downclocking the gpu. -
Hey lesson learned, never forget to plug your fans back in when digging inside your laptop.
I did something like that once
Had a gateway 6831FX and for the first time in my life tried upgrading the CPU,everything was going fine till the last screw on the heat sink and then "zing" there goes the final SPRING loaded screw ( I was to stupid and naive/ excited about the swap and totally forgot all I read about the right procedure)
I installed the T9300 I had gotten but then got to the task of finding the last screw, took me like a friggin hour but I finally found it.
Reinstalled the heat sink after scrapping all the old crap off it and everything went smoothly after that, booted it up saw T9300 and was happy as hell!
Turned on CPU-Z and slowly very slowly the temps started going up like crazy, I'm like what the F man I did everything right, must be a defective CPU I got! Crap!
Then I noticed the new and unopened tube of AS5 sitting right in front of me..Doh!
Did it all over with no screws lost and the AS5 next time and everything was fine after that, but not after pooping in my pants thinking " I just killed my laptop" -

I think next time im bored I will put the P7450 back in and burn it free of paste. The heatsink comes down on it perfectly even. The millions of imperfections in the surfaces of the metal are the only thing preventing proper heat conduction.
Just to see how it does. -
Both of you are talking about the Gateway or Asus?

This model looks better or worse? G51
