    Hi All,

    I bought this in January and it seem to work well for a while. Now it seems that it is getting real hot....the fan is constantly running. I do run a lot of programs on it with XP Pro.

    I have T7100 with 1gig ram and 120gig hd. I have opened up the heatsink area and sprayed it. Nothing seems to have worked.

    What could be the problem?

    I keep it on my lap, however, I always make sure the two vents on the right side and bottom always has space for ventilation.

    Anyone?

    All it needs is some cleaning. Take a can of compressed air and blow out the vents. You will have to open the CPU/GPU compartment and also blow in there.

    Blow into the fan, and let it spin, and the dust, lint and any other small particles will come right out. Then your notebook should be back to normal again.
