Just a FYI that Steam has A L O T of games on sale this week. Many are 50% off or better.
I picked up:
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition
Dirt 2
Sid Meier's Pirates!
Overlord Complete Pack (Overlord, Overlord Raising Hell, Overlord II)
Loki

What games can i play with a gma950?
-
I'm also playing Magic The Gathering: Trials of the Planewalkers, and that should run well on that kind of GPU.
I suppose I would say get some demos and give them a shot.
Another favorite of mine is Torchlight, which is on sale, and has a notebook mode to reduce graphic demands. I would suggest that as well. -
Another vote for Torchlight if you enjoy Diablo-type games. There are a lot of mods out for it as well.
I might pick up Witcher. Can't see at work- how much is it? -
Witcher is $6.79 for those in the US Region.
Also, just a good word of advice: The Daily Deals get insanely good on the final day (July 4th) so don't blow your entire paycheck too early.
Also, if you don't have any (or many) Valve games, do yourself a favor and grab their complete pack while it's on sale. -
...complete pack? Guess I'm a Steam noob, I didn't know there was such a thing. I have been playing console games forever since I didn't have a PC that could run anything. I haven't even finished Crysis yet.

Quagmire LXIX Have Laptop, Will Travel!
My my, if this wasn't digital content I'd say someone is having one helluva warehouse clearance sale
-
Too bad, I have no time to play games until November.
-
Just wanted to add I also got Resident Evil 5. My game count is up to 79! WOOT -
-
So what you are telling me is that you have no willpower, and unworthy of your PhD? One would think you would have the aptitude to get something when it's cheap, and just forget about it until you finish.
-
It was just a joke.
Of course I have the will power.
Instead wasting my time with playing games, I am using my time in the evenings to write my dissertation.
As a matter of fact I have not played any game in the last 2 months. The last one I finished was the Bad Company 2.
The next one I want to play when I have time is Start Craft 2.
It should be out by end of next month.
In any case I had a look at the offer from steam many of the games they have on offer are either old or I have already own them. -
-
In the days of school and when I was a university student 4 years ago I have always been on the top of my class.
I always managed my time in a good way.
I will be among the fastest to finish writing the dissertation.
My former colleagues had the habit to submit their work after around 8 to 12 months after finishing their PhD contract. I am finsihing it before end of my contract. -

MagusDraco Biiiiiiirrrrdmaaaaaaan
steam's getting wise to the "don't buy 'em until the 4th" plan.
The Witcher is now 13.99 instead of 6.70 (could mean the 6.70 was a mistake..or the 13.99 is a mistake...or the witcher is gonna get a daily deal..or something) -
-
It's like Morse Code. -
THQ pack for $49.99 is the same cost as metro 2033 solo; so all the rest of those games were essentially free. Awesome.
I got the squeenix-eidos pack for $74.99, which is less than batman and just cause 2, and includes a ton of awesome RTS games. Score!
I picked up RE5 for $12.50
Then I gifted 3 indie packs to my GF for playing on the netbook.
Total cost: ~$165
Total games: 50 for me, 12 for the GF.
Less than $3 per title, with plenty of current-gen A list titles, just incredible. I'll be watching the sales page too because each day they have a list below the packs of crazy deals. Grab L4D2 for $10, since for that price, it's well worth it, and it won't be on sale (except in the valve pack) in 50 more minutes.
This week on Steam Big Sale on many games
